How does it know the color of the cars on the counter?

Yup...these videos are really fun to watch. I admit that it's very satisfying to take an older played with Hot Wheel and tune it up. They can often go just as fast as a newer one out of the box and you don't have to worry about scratches or chips since they are usually already played with. I like playing with used Hot Wheels which I say are for 'go' and leaving the pristine models for 'show'. Again, well done videos. Thanks!

Watched all your Hot Wheel videos, Thank you so much ! It was awesome to see all the other stuff that was going on in the early 70's in the Hotwheel world. Even though I had my share of the 70's Hotwheel experience, I grew up with a limited knowledge of the vast variety of offerings back then. Thanks for sharing .

My brother still has his Tune-up Tower... I had no idea it actually worked to tell you what the wheel alignment was and speed of the car.!!!! And the wrench actually corrected most issues..!!! Wow... I got get his Tower and tune-up my cars..!!! Thanks so much...and make some NEW VIDEOS PLEASE..!!!

That’s beautiful- I had never heard of the supercharger, I only got the loops and brick walls to smash through. No… the Hotwheels didn’t have the brick walls, that was some other slot car style thing they had. Forgot what they were called. I play with my Hotwheels more now than I did back then… I’d love to have a pair of these tracks…

Great video! I, like many here, had this track!! I like how you adjusted the throttle to make the race close. I'm not sure, but the Vette looked like an FTE (Faster Than Ever), a gimmick they had in the early 2000's. Turns out the difference was they had nickle-plated axles. I always wondered of they really were faster than the regular cars or if that was just hype.

I had this as a kid, absolutely loved it! mine had an extra feature though, two people had a controller linked to a flipper on the track, if you let cars straight through they hit this barrier that slowed them down a bit, or max flip would guide a car into rotating hay bales on the insdie of the track that slowed a car down a bit. The right pressure would guide your car between both 'hazards'.

Kids today have no clue most have no ambition to do stuff like this its a shame we would race these things for hours

Target and Mattel re-issued Sizzlers back in 2008 but only lasted 1-2 years.

Parents bought me this set for Christmas 1971. I was so small, both my legs fit inside the box and use to slide down stairs. 😂

🎉 yes!! Hot Head! I was "All In" for the green car, because that is my favorite color, and kid me would have chose 'em! Man, I wish I had this track, these cars, and chargers. My 3 little girls and I would never leave the house on Saturday! 😅😊
